I chose this picture because of how good the focus and contrast is.

    I like the picture for the same reasons you do. It has great focus and you can see the detail of the pattern so well! It is a little bit washed out looking because the lighting is so bright, but it is a good photo to represent focus.It has nice shadowing as well,
